This year, we've developed a Chicken Wing Trail for everyone to test out the many styles and flavors of chicken wings that Cooperstown has to offer. Flock over to these participating restaurants: Alex’s Bistro, Cooley’s, Cooperstown Beverage Exchange, the Doubleday Cafe, Mel’s at 22, the Pit, Sal’s Pizza, Upstate Bar & Grill.
Buttons! Get your Winter Carnival Buttons! You can purchase this years Winter Carnival Button at the Welcome Center in Pioneer Park. They are a great memento of the fun times you'll have at this years Winter Carnival!
The Cooperstown Winter Carnival will be hosting it's Cold Winter, Warm Community Ice Breaker at the @cooperstown_distillery at 2 pm - 4:30 pm, Sunday February 11. @otsegolandtrust will be displaying their "Picture Perfect" Exhibit, a display of photos take around the area, as well as host a 30 minute trivia contest at 3pm! Then, at 4 pm, The Freeman's Journal will present an award to the winner of the Medallion Hunt.
It gets cold out there! Take refuge in our heated Welcome Center, located in Pioneer Park throughout the Carnival Weekend. We'll have information about Winter Carnival events, raffle tickets for sale and some places to sit and relax. See you there!
The Winter Carnival’s signature family-friendly event! There will be games from The Brookwood School, roasted marshmallows, sledding, with the first 20 participants receiving a fudge coupon at Tin Bin Alley, horse-drawn wagon rides, handheld pony rides, jax wax, a history hunt and the Hill City Snow Queen with her friend Anna, who will ride up to the Tunnicliff Inn for pictures to be taken and hot chocolate! The Snow Queen and Anna will be departing around 3:30 pm for the Tunnicliff Inn from Lake Front Park. See you there! #wearecooperstown
We'll be kicking off the Winter Carnival at 4:30 pm, Friday, February 9th. Come over to Pioneer Park to hear Mayor Jeff Katz speak, see some ice sculptures from the Suny Delhi Ice Sculpting Team, pick up an event brochure and weekend specials list, while enjoying some hot cider compliments of @flycreekcidermill Make sure to peek into our Main Street storefronts for some original winter poetry by our Cooperstown Elementary students.
