Another one of my favourite memories from 2018 was meeting Dave and his little penguin friends. These guys live on a few select beaches just outside of Cape Town, South Africa. Tag someone who looks like a penguin 🐧
One of my favourite views I’ve seen this year was in Mazunte, Mexico. From the top of the cliffs surrounding the beach, we were able to see a natural pattern created by the waves. Nature never disappoints 🌊
Some of the most vertical mountains I’ve ever seen surround Machu Picchu. Just to the right of the Ancient city is this view. This was taken on my Canon 5Dmk4 + 24-70mm lens with two separate exposures: one for the mountains which were pretty dark, and one for the sky which was a lot brighter.
Today I saw more of Istanbul than I have in the past 5 days combined. We started at sunrise near the water, and adventured on foot all day long. We tried local foods, explored ancient buildings and talked with local street vendors. Travel is all about diving into the culture and trying new things. Thanks @hasanilkay for the awesome adventure.
Over the past two months I’ve been exploring North Africa, the Middle East, and Eastern Europe. This trip has opened my eyes their beautiful culture and amazing landscapes. Thanks @lexarmemory for allowing me to capture it. Tag your adventure buddy 🤘🏼
One of the coolest things I have ever done. Riding in a hot air balloon at sunrise over a misty Cappadocia. I think the best thing about a Hot Air balloon is how quiet it is while you float through the sky. This was also a morning when real life looked fake. Thank you @pilot_faith and @butterflyballoons for taking me on this incredible flight.
Stunning mornings in Cappadocia. We woke up to a low lying fog over the valley. The hot air balloons rose out of the fog and then sunk back into it and disappeared. This amazing view was at the @mithracavehotel 👌🏼
Sunrise in Cappadocia this morning was something out of a dream. We had breakfast on the roof, hungout with this little guy, and watched hundreds of balloons fly over us. @mithracavehotel has been an absolutely fantastic and accommodating place to stay. Check them out if you plan to come to Turkey!
These wild horses gallop freely through the hills near Kayseri, Turkey. During the downfall of the Ottoman Empire, these horses were left to fend for themselves. They are now known as the Yilki horses and are a symbol of the Karadağ region. Today we went with a local guide who led us to a herd of these wild animals. 🐴
