If I would have to rate this hike only by the path we had to take at 1:30 in the morning to make it up there for sunrise it would be a 1/10.. we got soaked so badly because it rained the day before and the entire way up we had to walk through tall bushes and grass which reached our hips at some parts. Just after a few minutes I had water in my shoes and still 9km to go... really wanted to turn around but I wanted to make it up to this place I haven’t been at ...
I have been on some helicopter flights now and it is always an incredible feeling to move around in the air - on the search for new perspectives. When we drove towards the Mt. Robson Provincial Park in BC, Canada it was quite foggy. I was afraid the helicopter wouldn’t be able to depart as the pilots need a good visibility for a safe flight. The clouds cleared just after sunrise and I was afraid we wouldn’t get any low clouds during the flight which was two hours later. Once we made it to the heli pit of @robsonhelimagic I ...
Visited this place a few times now and K can tell that summer is my favorite season! Can’t wait to explore more of the alps in late summer. Right now I am chasing some really good conditions here in canada. Lots of sunrise hikes, low clouds and emerald lakes. Can’t wait to edit all the images at home to share more with you! ⠀⠀⠀⠀ ⠀⠀⠀⠀ #stayandwander#italy
It was finally the time to jump into that lake again! It still leaves me speechless by the first sight whenever I walk up the rock pile to the view points. The scenery is just beyond amazing and it looks like someone planned a perfect located lake surrounded by ten peaks including some of the most amazing water color! ⠀⠀⠀⠀ ⠀⠀⠀⠀ #stayandwander#canada
Understandable why this is one of the iconic Icelandic landmarks. Every time I stand in front of that waterfall I realize how powerful nature can be and how small a human being is compared to that. The scary part: the human impact seems to be more powerful than nature these days. ⠀⠀⠀⠀ ⠀⠀⠀⠀ #stayandwander#iceland
Same spot, different season. Not sure which one I like more. That winter sunrise was definitely one of my favorite ones yet. But having these low clouds in the summer looked also really good! ⠀⠀⠀⠀ ⠀⠀⠀⠀ #stayandwander#iceland
My favorite time visiting the unique landscapes of Iceland is for sure the summer! Endless light and less crowded places are just perfect for everyone who likes to enjoy nature ⠀⠀⠀⠀ ⠀⠀⠀⠀ #stayandwander#iceland
Just came back from a 30km hike in Canada. Really enjoying the less screen time! Stay tuned for the canada series which I am going to edit after the trip. For now: enjoy some Icelandic highlands! ⠀⠀⠀⠀ ⠀⠀⠀⠀ #stayandwander#iceland
Since the winter was pretty strong it took some time for the flowers to finally show their beauty at the Seiser Alm in the Italian Dolomites. The long wait was definitely worth it! ⠀⠀⠀ ⠀⠀⠀⠀ ⠀⠀⠀⠀ #stayandwander#italy
Exploring the highlands of iceland is for sure a must do for every adventure! The selection of a car is really important to stay safe on the F-roads. Therefore I can highly recommend to check out the fleet of @bluecarrental for your next adventure in Iceland! [Werbung] ⠀⠀⠀ ⠀⠀⠀⠀ ⠀⠀⠀⠀ #stayandwander#iceland
