After biking on this road for a few hours, I began thinking to myself that it would be pretty neat if a deer was by the side of the road because the light was soft. Literally within 20 seconds, this deer showed up and I almost missed it!
For the last 3 weeks I’ve been exploring the Clayoquot Sound on the west coast of British Columbia. One animal that I especially wanted to see was a coastal wolf. In hopes of finding and hopefully photographing this elusive animal, I spent many nights camping on remote beaches, following their tracks, talking to researchers and more. When my hope of finding one was beginning to diminish, my friend @liron_gertsman_photography spotted a washed up sea lion carcass in the distance which we then waited next to. After a while we began hearing a crow cawing and a beautiful wolf began trotting ...
I’ve spent the last two weeks on a remote field station in the Clayoquot Sound with two other young artists. During this incredible sunset, Emily wrote a hilarious poem from the perspective of an Italian director directing the sunset.
I’ve spent the last week exploring around Tofino and looking for wildlife. Around this coast there’s so much incredible wildlife from Sea Otters, Whales, Bears and Sea Lions. Thanks to @oceanoutfitterstofino ‘s incredible tours, I’ve been able to see them all!
Just another shot of Peyto Lake as you scroll down your feed. Usually, I try to avoid super popular photo locations so that I stay creative and original with my photography. On the other hand, I’ve got a platform where I can share some of the most beautiful areas in the world and inspire others to travel. Do you think I should try to post mostly original content or do you enjoy seeing photos of some of the most beautiful and famous locations like this one?
Months after initially going over the pictures from this shoot, I stumbled upon this one here which was the last of then all. Now it’s one of my favorite images I’ve ever taken. I just released a YouTube channel! Check the link in my bio to watch one of the 2 videos. The first is about how I find wildlife and the second is how I edit.

This image was taken the first night I ever saw the Northern Lights. Every clear night while I was in the Yukon, I would use my camera to see if there were any faint Northern Lights in any direction. After almost a week of trying, I saw what appeared to be a hazy green cloud in the distance. I set my camera to take a long exposure and after the 15 second shutter was over, the northern Lights appeared in my cameras LCD. That night, the lights slowly got closer until they were over my head while I was lying ...
I was in awe when I found this Barred Owl in a local forest. Then it started flying towards me! I got my camera up as fast possible and was able to fire a few shots as it passed by. Still can’t believe that this was the result. This owl is wild and unbaited.
Who else is participating in Earth Hour this year where you turn off your lights from 8:30 pm to 9:30 pm? Doing simple things like this can help the planet. #ad I'm super excited to tell you about @mytreeplanet, an organization letting you give the amazing gift of having trees planted. They even let you pick where to have them planted! I got 5 trees planted at home in British Columbia. @mytreeplanet #mytreeplanet
