Dark Nebula rho Ophiuchus DN Complex is a Dark Nebula appearing in the constellation Ophiuchus. It is 391 light years from our solar system. This one was take using the Zeiss 135mm on a Canon 5D Mk IV with a star tracker. You'd most likely recognize this region sailing by the Milkyway band on most shots. . . . . . . . . . . . . . #milkywaychasers#milkyway ...
IMPORTANT LIFE LESSON: you really feel the alcohol at higher altitudes 🗣 ...but really, remember that, because you’ll actually forget every. dang. time. OH, and this was the one photo I took while hiking 1 mile down and 10 miles back up (according to the park rangers) after one canned wine! . . . . . #usainemilyseyes#craterlake @natgeotravel @natgeoyourshot @wilderness_culture @lonelyplanetmags @awesomeglobe @discoverglobe @earthofficial @wonderful_places @wonderlust.portland @cnntravel @bbcearth @bbc_travel
last year, I had the opportunity to travel from Colorado to Oregon, and all the way down the California coast. It was definitely one of the best experiences I’ve ever had, and I saw some of the most beautiful sights I’ve ever seen 🌸 I got a lot of cool photos and will share some soon!
One of my favorite parts of the PCT are all the National Parks we walk through. This time it was Crater Lake which is the deepest lake in the US. It’s considered the bluest lake in the world and also has the record for clarity. Before it was a lake it was Mt Mazama which was 12,000’ tall before it exploded 7,500 years ago. #pct#pct2019
I have been fortunate in my life to have visited beautiful places but until yesterday I had never really known what it meant to have a place literally take my breath away. I grabbed Heath’s arm and gasped....absolutely breathtaking. I hope you get a chance to visit Crater Lake National Park! - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - #oregon#craterlake
. . . . #thetrip#onwheels
#americanmarten through my iPhone/Zeiss binos this morning! I should really carry my camera on surveys, but it’s a pain. Between Douglas Squirrels, ground squirrels, chipmunks, and baby birds there is a ton of food around for pine martens and I’ve been hoping to find one. I was so excited to see this guy bounding toward me at my first site today! #pinemarten
State 22/50: Oregon ft. Crater Lake — took us more than 5 hours to get here & almost ran out of gas getting out here but its all worth the trouble, the beauty is so majestic ✨ 🍁 🍁 🍁 🍁 🍁 #oregon#portland
In our latest YouTube video we explored Crater Lake National Park in Oregon, which is our 30th National Park! The water there is the purest in the entire world and it is a wild shade of blue. Have you ever been? . . . . . #travelblog#travelphotographer
