For New Years I committed to no longer using any form of plastic straw. For Earth Day this year im committing to actually remembering my reusable shopping bags more often and to turn the water off when I brush my teeth! Little things don’t make the biggest impact, but if we all commit to small changes, then over time we can do greater good for this beautiful planet of ours. Happy Earth Day! & I hope today can motivate more of us to make some changes for our planet. 🌍🌎🌏 throw back to my trip to Grand Teton and Yellowstone, ...

Alex & I went to a seminar about composting the other day & decided we’d give it a try. The MN botanical club made it sound very doable, so we’re feeling inspired! Today is Earth Day! It is also still National Parks Week. Our national parks protect fragile natural areas and species, but we need to do our part to protect the whole planet, even outside officially protected areas. This is Grand Teton National Park, Yellowstone's less visited neighbor. #earthday#nationalparksweek . . . . .
“Les Trois Tetons,” or “The Three Breasts.” Fitting name for a natural feature that gives me life on a daily basis. Some photographs just stick to you. Not because of the uniqueness or quality but because of the feelings that were attached during its creation. To me it’s difficult to choose a favorite photo because what you’re really asking me is to choose my favorite feeling. -all the feels in this one- • • • #findyourpark#nationalpark

“But the angel said to the women, "Do not be afraid, for I know that you seek Jesus who was crucified. He is not here, for he has risen, as he said. Come, see the place where he lay.” Matthew 28:5-6 ESV // Happy Easter everyone! Here are some pictures from the Grand Teton mountains (probably my favorite mountain range so far). Had the opportunity to take a horseback ride through the park and see the mountain from a whole new angle! Photos Taken: July 17th, 2018

You know what my favorite part of the Easter mirclel is? It's the stir. The stir no one saw. That first second Jesus twitched beneath the burial clothes and death lost its sting. Hope, glorious hope rose in that second when the world still felt the weight of death. Hope twitched. Hope moved. Hope stirred. And Jesus arose! -Lysa TerKeurst

Yesterday was the first day of #nationalparksweek meaning it’s time get outside & explore this beautiful planet 🌍 we call home! I haven’t been to many national parks, I’ve only had the pleasure of adventuring through 4 out of the breathtaking 58 parks scattered throughout the USA. Which means I’ve got a ton more adventuring to do; and planning on seeing a few more in the upcoming future! I’m curious, although I know it’s nearly impossible to pick, but if you had to, which #nationalpark is your all-time favorite and which is number one of your right now?!
Flying Fox!! This was one of the craziest things I’ve ever seen. Watched this beautiful Red Fox for over an hour last night and in that time she caught 5-6 voles! But this particular pounce was absolutely insane, as she jumped at least 5 feet in mid air to attempt to catch a vole!! I guess she knew that this vole was deeper under the snow then usual, so she had to get a little bit more air to get enough momentum to reach it. I just couldn’t believe what just happened! Was really happy when I saw that I ...
