Blue sharks are graceful, slow in the water, and curious! We traveled 54km from the Cape of Good Hope (3 hours in fog on a zodiac) to find where the current to Namibia meets the Antarctic currents. We waited, and they came. “By the way they are curious!” - they said. “Just push them gently on their nose away!” - they said. And so taking the deepest breathes I could, with these beauties swimming with eyes open towards me (4 in total plus 2 Makos!) I d i d. I felt alive, present, and in awe. Thank you to @mornehardenberg ...
🖤 At the tip of the continent 🖤 Aw almost forgot about that! Sunny day at the most south-western point of THE continent. I was lucky to meet a friend who organised the best scenic drive to this beautiful place! ___________________ #capetown#blackgirltravel
This is where the Indian Ocean meets the Atlantic Ocean 🌊 It’s where the Portugal explorer Bartholomeu Diaz stopped on his quest to find a new spice route to the East. This is the most South Westernly TIP OF AFRICA and I’m HERE 🤯 #southafrica#capeofgoodhope
