A little sneak peek from yesterday’s intimate wedding at the Cotton Dock. GUYS. BOONE HALL PLANTATION IS GORGEOUS. They filmed scenes from The Notebook here. Blake Lively and Ryan Reynolds got married here. I practically melted into the driveway in a puddle of heart eyes here. 😍
Keeping in theme with my last post about uncovering historic items -- and getting back to the topic of Boone Hall: These beautiful glass bottles were discovered under the floor boards of the preserved slave cabins. The cabins on Boone Hall are believed to have been built using bricks from the plantation's brick-making operation. According to the 1850 District Census, Boone Hall was producing 4,000,000 bricks per year. #coastalsouth
We spent our day chasing around every site seeing thing we could from Allie and Noah’s story. If you know, you know. Driving down private driveways in search of the blue shutters and the love story that we feel like may not even compare to ours. He’s told me since day 1 that we would write the greatest love story of the 21st century. 14 years in and I still believe it. ❤️💑 #thegreatestlovestoryofthe21stcentury #righthererightnow

It’s actually pretty fitting since we got married in Charleston a few days after Hurricane Irma and our dance-floor completely flooded. We knew rain was always a possibility on a wedding day but this... welcome to the low country 😬. None of that mattered to us, we already said “I do” and The Royal Suits band kept playing. We ...
So happy to relive the best day of our lives! Bud and I had so much fun, and being married has been such a blessing. Thanks to our friends and family for making it so special. 📸: @rachlovestroy #gallaghermehm2018#charlestonweddings
