Lovely Victoria Sponge delivered today - with @edible_flowers, fresh fruit and macarons. . 📸 taken @thyme_on_st.marys where I bought two new house plants to add to my rapidly growing collection. Plants are becoming a weekly purchase and they make me happy - which is good for my mental health and also makes the house look like a tropical jungle...which also contributes to my happiness. Win win.
First outing for my Lonely Goat top and the #flipbelt. Really impressed with the belt, it was so comfortable and didn’t move, hardly knew I was wearing it. That run had everything, bit of threshold work, bit of jeffing, partial head wind and some large hills. Not pretty but my fastest recorded 5k since I had my Garmin. Please excuse a) my big red face and b) the state of our gym changing room. Do we need all these coat hangers? 🙄 #lunchtime5k
Today’s Veteran Tribute: British Army, Corporal: Lee M. Scott (2 RTR). Known as ‘Scotty’ within his Regiment. Born in Ely, Cambridgeshire, and raised in Kings Lynn, Norfolk. He enlisted in the Army in August 2002, just after his 19th Birthday. He completed his basic training at the Army Training Centre in Winchester, Hampshire. He was then trained as a Tank Crewman in Bovington, Dorset. After completing his training, he was assigned to the 2nd Battalion, Royal Tank Regiment, and deployed to Kosovo in 2005. Upon his return, he was promoted to Lance Corporal, and deployed to Iraq in 2007. At ...

My work sent me to England for a quick 3 day training. I’m dying to see more of this amazing country, but this trip is just too fast! I managed to squeeze in a candlelit mass and enjoy some fish and chips with the queen 👑 . The countryside is as green and enchanting as imagined.
