Grateful for a (very) brief trek into nature this weekend for a little recharge. Give me all the rain and snow if it means these little beauties (and their flowery friends) continue to bloom and grow. #naturefeedsmysoul#simplepleasures
Last time I visited Utah we drove right from Bryce to Moab and skipped Capitol Reef. Big mistake! The park is absolutely beautiful! In my defense it is tough to see everything if vacation time is limited. Do you have trouble squeezing everything you want to do in your travel itineraries? . . . . . . . . . #capitolreef#capitolreefnationalpark
Who knew @gopro could take Milky Way photos? Thanks @shashankvijay77 for sparking my interest in Milky Way chasing! Looking forward to spending more new moon nights in dark sky areas this summer 😬 #goprohero7black . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . #astrophotography @ig_milkyway @adventurenthusiasts @capitolreefnps
How you doin’? Even though we went to Arches today, I’ll still thinking of that Jeep ride through Capitol Reef. If the weather clears, we hope to go back to Canyonlands in the Jeep tomorrow (because yesterday at Canyonlands was cold and windy, too).
Utah Day 5: Torrey Part 2, Capitol Reef and Torrey quite honestly could not be put together in a single part of pictures, everywhere you looked, and everything you saw had a uniqueness too it unlike anything else.
Hold You Now || Vampire Weekend + Danielle Haim . . . One of my favorite things about the desert is how everything smells so clean and fresh and sweet and spicy. Coincidentally, those are the exact same words I would use to describe Vampire Weekend’s latest album, Father of the Bride. Give it a listen if you haven’t! This has been a good season for cactus flowers, new music, overcoming the mental burden of a whole lotta ridiculous courses, and overcoming the emotional burdens of life in general. Here’s to life not getting any easier, but all of us ...

Hace exactamente un mes y una semana que hicimos este viaje y no hay un día que pase sin que sueñe con regresar. Se que este viaje fue solo el comienzo de una continua relación llena de aventuras con el hermoso desierto de Utah. #love_camping #capitolreefnationalpark
These small pools remind me of a place we visited in Scotland called the ”Fairy Pools”. While it’s calm and peaceful now, I can only image how much this changes during a heavy rain storm. . . . . . This is a hike called “The Tanks” located in Capitol Reef NP, Utah. Exhausted after the quick weekend trip but it was a perfect way to catch up with friends, explore a new NP, and doesn’t hurt that the entire weekend was “curated” by @kmalinowski88. More to come from this trip and maybe even some new branding? #engeneio
Back to #capitolreef for the next installment of impressive red sandstone canyons! This is Spring Canyon, an easy overnight as long as you can sort out transportation between the trailheads. We caught a ride fairly quickly from some kind fellow travelers 😃 . . #capitolreefnp
Couldn’t have asked for a better birthday with my loves. The best day we got for weather was my actual birthday like the weather gods just knew! Thank you @milehighmagee for making the day so great!! . #capitolreefnationalpark#happybirthday
The cross country road trip is officially over and contract #3 starts today but we are wishing our Monday looked a little more like this. We managed to get a quick trip into Capitol Reef NP on Friday. We loved the various hikes we went on, amazing views, and the petroglyphs! . . . . . . . . . . . #travel
Throw-back to #capitolreefnationalpark ... if you have never been to this park, I recommend it. You can find trails with a view point of the surrounding cliffs and valleys below. There are trails leading to water tanks in the desert, or even trails giving views of petroglyphs or a pioneer registry with dates back to the 1800’s. . What I like most about Capitol Reef is the fact that it is not as busy as other parks we have been to. There are many cool places you can visit to get from the crowds. From slot canyons to river ...
We went through Capitol Reef National Park on our way to Moab today. There are still petroglyphs from a tribe around 1300 AD on the canyon walls and apple orchards from a Mormon settlement #capitolreef#capitolreefnationalpark
