Talk about incredible! You never know with whom you're sharing a lane, but you do now. Thanks Dan Woog for the article about one of our accomplished swimmers/members, Liz Fry. 🏊♀️🏊♀️🏊♀️ . . . . . #ymca#wwfy
HOLIDAY ROAD TRIP We’re on the ferry so I’m prepared. I’ll never forget the time I had a baby in the front pack, a 2 year old vomiting on me & a green looking husband lying in the floor of the ferry. Never again! . Digestzen on the belly & Peppermint in the wrists & sternum. Because they make a funny tummy feel good. Just in case!
The Cook Strait ferry crossing between Wellington and Picton is known as one of the most beautiful ferry rides in the world and is rated as a New Zealand must-do experience. If you purchase one of our national bus passes you will need to buy a ferry ticket from your driver guide once you are on the road. ⛴ Photo cred: @ebugakov #kiwiexperience#embracetheunexpected @interislander_nz
Crossed Cook Strait without vomiting the whole trip, even tho I forgot to take medicine for motion sickness and as a bonus I saw a whale too!!! 🇳🇿🐋🛳 life is great😊 . . . #happymoments#cookstraitcrossing
Heavy seas in #cookstrait - better than a rollercoaster or worse depending on your motion sickness quotient! Test your own quotient by watching the third photo in the series (it’s a video) and also discover why Kiwi’s are masters of understatement!🌊🤢😆
These are definitely gastropod eggs but not sure if #buccinulum linea here was laying its own, or (more likely) dining on someone else's. Oct '16 Haven't been looking very hard but we've seen no lined whelks around here in over 2 years🤪 #buccinidae
So what did we come to New Zealand for? This. Nature so beautiful and unspoiled and moving that it got me teary-eyed. While we enjoyed exploring the (relatively small but big for NZ) cities in the North Island, the areas that we really look forward to seeing are in the South Island. Our first stop: the wine country of Marlborough. Cheers!
