It sure is getting cold outside! The temperatures are dropping, the trees are nearly empty of leaves, and snow is on the way. Even though there are many changes, some things in Wisconsin never change- great cheese curds, even better beer, and Lake Mendota is as beautiful as ever. So trade in your tee shirts for sweaters, and look out for our cold-weather deals coming soon! #visit#madison

Why should you visit Madison Sourdough? Not only are they fresh, homemade, and reasonably priced, but they also genuinely care about their employees and surrounding community. Chefs get paid sick days and employees get insurance and daily free meals. Plus, they donate to the food pantry and helped raise money for the victims of the gas explosion in Middleton. #willystreet#local

Stylish. Beautiful. Ethical. Change clothing store is a business fully committed to fair trade clothing and items. The items sold here come from all over the world from people who make a livable wage, helping to battle child labor and bad business practices that are common in the apparel industry, so the best part of shopping at change is you know exactly where your dollars are going. Plus, they offer a fantastic rewards program for repeat shoppers! 1252 Williamson St #willystreet#local
Robet, gracious barista at Cafe Domestique, took time out from making drinks to talk with The Marquette Hotel. There is so much that makes this cafe unique, including its very obvious bike motif! Robert was very proud to share that all the syrups used in the drinks are made daily with fresh ingredients. Robert also felt it was important to highlight that they make their Sea Salt Vanilla Latte’s with an uncommon ingredient known as oat milk. Robert assured us that 100% of the patrons who try oat milk love it!!

This old hippie commune now offers gardening equipment and plants of all types, from common to rare. Fun fact: They also offer local pottery, paintings, and macro-me. In case you needed any more reasons to visit, stop in and say hi to their shop dog Mia! 🐶 #willystreet#shoplocal
