I have an extended weekend of PTO and of course the cat doesn’t let me sleep in at ALL this morning! Haha, his kitten-like meows are just too precious to ignore. It’s all good though as I do have some errands I want to accomplish today!⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ 📷Photography: @zoeburchard

Lucked out with a little sunlight during this photo session with @sararanlett!⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ The roses at the rose garden are all so beautiful, but the petals have already begun shedding. Take a look soon before they’re all gone!

It’s my birthday month! This summer has been one of the least sunniest ones I have ever experienced, but I’m pretty happy for it! Greener grasses, plants haven’t been drying out or burning, and I can get away with wearing my favorite cardigan most days. I prefer slightly cooler summers rather than the blistering ones that leave me with a slight sunburn after 40 minutes. What about you?⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ .⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ 📷: @zoeburchard
New post is up on the blog: weekend getaway to Long Beach!⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ Some fun facts:⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ • The US’s longest driveable beach is here⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ • The world’s largest frying pan is also located here⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ • Cape Disappointment earned its name due to an Englishman not being able to find the Columbia River entrance from the Pacific Ocean (womp womp)⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ See photos up on my blog - link is in my bio!

Today, I’m visiting my hometown of Sequim (the little lavender capital of the USA) to drop off highly coveted chanterelle mushrooms grown in Bulgaria to my parents! That sounds crazy fancy and neature-y but really, I lucked out in spotting them at a PCC market. I’m going to try to visit my favorite lavender farms for some photos, and maybe even do a little hometown round up of fun things to do when visiting Sequim! We will see :)⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ 📷: @zoeburchard

Happy Independence Day! Most especially to those trying to make a new life for themselves and for their future generations, including people like my mom who immigrated from the Philippines. Happy Independence Day to those seeking a new life, liberated from despair and hopelessness, and simply finding happiness for themselves as the founding fathers did as immigrants from Britain. May we all pursue life, liberty, and happiness in peace! 🇺🇸⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ PS: please mind ya fireworks so we don’t have forests looking like this. It might not be the sunniest day today in western Washington, but that also means it’s not ...
New post is up on the blog! Belated post about visiting Montecito and Santa Barbara, California last summer!! There were so many succulents growing in abundance there, and it was gorgeous to see. Our AirBnB was also a historical home that was absolutely elegant. Click the link in my bio to see for yourself!
An oldie but a goodie! This was from my very first photo session with a photographer. I was extremely nervous that I would be too awkward to pose or too frustrating to work with. I had never tried something like this before and I was worried about setting expectations too high for myself.⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ I have definitely come a long way from this moment but it all started from this session! I feel so much more secure about myself and more confident in pursuing modeling and other creative avenues. I still don’t really refer to myself as a model but experimenting ...

Sometimes, I wonder if the deep, uninterrupted happiness I’m finally experiencing is not genuine because I have to take medication. I spoke with my therapist about it, and how I wonder if there will be a day I can be myself without such a pill.⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ She said that needing a little help to manage depression doesn’t make the joy I now have less valid, and that there is indeed a stigma around anti-depressants and the like. Maybe I’ll be taking it for a few months, a few more years, or maybe for the rest of my life. But this isn’t ...
