Some #gopro footage from a recent trip to the #shootingrange...good day or bad day, there are few things in life that can clear the mind like a little with the exception of maybe or but it's hard to beat the smell of the feel of a solid in your hands and blasting repetitively!! As you can see, I thoroughly enjoy learning to shoot this based on the progression from beginning to end of range time.
More revolver pics... and it isn't even #wheelgunwednesday yet! This sweet little Ruger LCR 357 is easy to carry but tough to shoot well. Those wood grips make AIWB carry easy but don't absorb any of the recoil like the factory grips do!

I tested a few hundred rounds today at both 25 and 50m. And it worked great at both distances. I was very surprised about the 50m results. It seems to go very straight forward. Very fun. All pictures are from the 50m testing . . . . #nsfpistol#nsfskyting
New addition to the Colt collection. A Police Positive .38 Special. From my research it is an early one made in 1913. Also pictured are my Colt Official Police .38 Special (1960) and Colt 1903 Pocket Hammerless .32ACP (1911). #guns#pewpewlife
I figured it was finally time for me to learn how to shoot a gun, so I went out and got myself a little Smith & Wesson .38 special. She’s a little cutie. Figured I needed to document my first day at the range with her. Not perfect, but it’s day 1 with 100 rounds. It’s only going to get better from here. Anyone want to name her? 🔫😬😏🗻 . . . . . . . . #summitcountyrange#gunrange ...

#repost @midwest_hale (@get_repost) ・・・ Finally reviewing my film from the FL state match. I lost a mental battle with myself at this match and you can start to see it coming out- I gave myself a P (procedural penalty) right away with the pistols on this stage so finishing strong was a struggle. But even bad days of shooting beats no shooting at all! #singleactionshootingsociety

Time well spent at the range. I did some muzzle velocity tests and learned alot. The bullets run good. But with 4grs of powder and 125gts bullet, the speed of the bullet could have over 100 ft/ sec difference, depending on if the gunpowder lies up against the bullet or against the primer. Very interesting. . . . #nsfpistol#nsfskyting
ATTENTION KIMBER K6s OWNERS!!! Yesterday I had a mishap with my kimber and posted a sheared firing pin . I had been bummed about it since I truly love the revolver . Well today I used my thinking cap and remembered that the kimber mechanism was exactly as a smith and wesson with a few tweaks . So I went on a mission and removed the firing pin from my L frame 686 . Measured the springs and firing pins and to my surprise they were exactly the same!! But here’s the catch and where kimber really fucked up! The ...
