To be clear, this is not right now. The sea is a lot less appealing today but will return to this kinda beauty tomorrow and Saturday again! By the way, we have room for you on our Saturday sessions. Get in touch 😃 . . . . #causewaycoasteering#girlsday
6yrs old and NOT impressed! After enjoying such fun in an incredible and seemingly pristine environment Georgie and get family were NOT expecting to each be able to pick up multiple pieces of marine plastic as they left the water. Georgie knows exactly what this rotten little packet is and hopefully seeing it here, like this leaves an indelible mark on her, so much so that she (and everyone else who coasteers with us) will for evermore be affected by the plastic pollution problem. . . . . #causewaycoasteering#plasticpollution ...
Sun shining through the stormy clouds at Dunseverick Castle. I was modelling for @smithyd2 photo when this moment occured and it was a rush to get the camera sorted and capture this view. ▪️ ▪️ ▪️ #dunseverickcastle#causewaycoastalroute
Looks like it's all gone a bit wrong here! Getting a face, bum or stomach slapped by the water from about 12metres isn't any sort of fun. In fact, it's quite a shock for some, dear folk. But nope, that's not what's happening here. It's under Aaron's complete control! The man's a mid-air maestro. I'm a fan of his work. Aaron and his wife Gemma are also massive dog-lovers and trainers, very charitable, patient and open in that regard. . . . . #causewaycoasteering#backflip ...
Here we have incredible underwater visibility coupled with a pretty hopeless swimming technique and eyes wide shut! We love great, crystal visibility around our coast and we have various challenges and activities that can take advantage of those conditions! Our visitors from overseas frequently comment on how clean our waters are! We love hearing that! Onshore wind and teeming rain is not conducive to clear seas though 🙄 . . . . #causewaycoasteering#underwaterphotography ...
The local surfers are all complaining about the lack of big waves, for over a month up here! We're happy enough as it makes our life a bit simpler in organising and running the sessions. This is us out on 'Staff Training' but we do realise that not many of our sweet customers have quite the same zest for getting thrashed by big swell! . . . . #causewaycoasteering#waves
There's a wee man awfully happy at his work! Strange wee man doing a rather unusual job 😄 I love it! Love the activity, of course, but I relish meeting everyone from all over the world, spending time with them and investing myself in them. If it was just the activity I might have been done by now! . . . . #causewaycoasteering#professionalmodel @davem2896 took the shot!
Glory. Caves and beauty. Glory, beauty and caves. All come together for Juliana and the girls for this gorgeous evening session. At this time of year I think evening sessions are fantastic, well worth thinking about. Think about it 😆 . . . . #causewaycoasteering#caves
Our Barry on patrol, surveying Portrush. Is there a more affable man? Or more offline? We'll, he does have an email address... Which he assures me, IS on the internet 😄😄 . . . . #causewaycoasteering#sup
I’ve seen waterfalls before but this is the first time that I saw a waterfall that falls straight to sea! We found this little but exceedingly photogenic miniature waterfall as we were on this very long hike up the Dunseverick Castle coastline in Bushmills in Northern Ireland. It’s really unique that every single beach we visited to happens to be a place where a river flows into sea. Breathtaking. It’s moments like this you feel truly alive and thank to god that you still have the ability to get lost in beauty when you see it with the wonder of ...
We're coasteering everyday at the minute and everyday coasteering usually looks like this! The challenge here is for the person to try and get to the bottom of the rockpool, to the sand. Most can't do it! Simple challenge at the start of one of our routes while people are still getting used to the environment, movements and us 😆 . . . . #causewaycoasteering#dive
A few of us were out on the paddleboards last night and on the way back in we were struck by (the sight) of these crazy cold water maniacs swimming back and forth across West Strand, Portrush. We're still wearing winter wetsuits and these plucky souls are in their birthday suits (well, Speedos)! Class. Love all the activity that happens around the North Coast, leads to much healthier and happier natives. Does anyone recognise this fellas arm or wedding ring? . . . . #causewaycoasteering#openwaterswim ...
We have options. Options for everyone, every group. Big options and wee options. We wouldn't let you go near something like this if you hadn't already proven yourself capable through the rest of the session (no matter what you or others are saying). I think some people believe we make everyone leap off these huge cliffs. Just to be clear, it isn't like that. People who don't jump the big ones, or the medium ones still have a blast because there's s great variety of things to do...and it's beautiful down there 😎😁 . . . . #causewaycoasteering#confidence ...
Good morning! ☀️ It feels like Monday today (even though I have no work to go to right now) because I am back home and I am cracking out the to do list today. I'd rather be back here on the Northern Coast, looking at at that glorious sea 🌊😍 This was a short uphill trek to the top of the cliff, but did it hurt my legs and chest?! 🙈 I do have tonight to look forward to!! 🙌🥂 Prosecco time with my best friend, putting world to rights as usual ❤
I love the sights when you're out amongst the surf, like this... As the bigger wave comes in and you swim over the top, look back as it passes under and around you and see the familiar shore disappear! There's a different, probably my favourite visual treat I haven't managed to capture yet whilst surfing, but I will! . . . . #causewaycoasteering#surf
The first look. Such a beautiful moment that you will remember forever. Sometimes it’s nice to take time before the ceremony to spend just with each other in private. . . . #elopementlove#northernirelandelopement
Oh, to be back by the sea 🌊 We are firmly back in the UK after a mammoth eleven hour journey from Belfast to The Cotswolds. Have already gotten dressed up for a Christening in record speed of twenty minutes and now in PJs on the couch with Netflix on 🙌 Happy Sunday!

Always watching the water. Even when we're out on a fairly hectic session and there's lots happening we're still watching the water. We have to be aware of it's movements, any changes and any surprises. Plus, we love watching what it does and how it does it. This image shows the tide filling back up a small crack into a rockpool just out of picture. The inrushing tide brings life to rockpools that have been cut off during low tide! . . . . #causewaycoasteering#tide ...
Two things: 1. Sea conditions are like this all week and we still have space for folk at the wkend! 2. Betcha no one knows where I'm standing to take this photo! The closest guess/answer wins! . . . . #causewaycoasteering#beautiful_places
Hallo ihr Lieben, ich war in der vergangenen Woche in Nordirland unterwegs und ich bin immer noch hin und weg von der bezaubernden Landschaft. Habt einen tollen Abend👋 . . . #nordirland#northernireland
If only every Monday could be a bank holiday. Lovely walk along the north coast with @dianejohnston1 from Dunseverick Castle towards the Giants Causeway. We really don't appreciate the beauty of where we live sometimes 👌 Hard to beat the north coast. #coastalwalks#northernireland
Toning it right down... I fully understand that exploring our beautiful coast, enjoying the sensation of being lifted by waves and jumping into the water isn't for everyone. However, we can adapt our coasteering sessions to the level of a 4yr old French boy so I wouldn't be too quick to write yourself off 😆 . . . . #causewaycoasteering#4yrsold
