@sushijaponhibachigrill Has some of the best hibachi food in #atx. The meal started with a grapefruit martini. We then enjoyed a fantastic chicken hibachi entree. This was followed by tempura ice cream which was drizzled in caramel & chocolate and dusted with cinnamon. To finish we had their lychee martini with real lychee fruit on top. #atxeats

Delighted with the most colourful and aesthetic brunch at the plant based @kanurestaurant. The cauliflower was very well paired with the sweetness of caramelized celery and some kick from chillies. The Brussels sprouts and carrot purée were just divine. Also, pretty sure this is the most beautiful avo toast I’ve ever eaten. What a fantastic addition for more plant based options in Edmonton 🥑 🌱

Sunday antics... Finally got my hands on some Beef Tongue from the good peeps over @preston_the_master_butcher. Decided to precook it by simmering for 4 hours with some onions, peppercorns, garlic. Placed on an ice bath and peeling that skin. Couldn't resist taste testing it out so decided to hit it with a few turns of S&P and grilled it up. Damn so much flavour, melt in your mouth, gelatinous goodness! Can't wait to use this for a dindins I've got in mind later in the week! But for now... Damn what that tongue do tho!

Hb Squats 4x12 @185 feeling fatigued from deads but they still went fast . Its the year of cereals and @poptartsus killed it on these not too much crunch, soaks up milk nice and soft jelly inside 8.8/10

@yungattah made this amazing Sunday hash a few weeks ago when we were at the end of our grocery supply 😩💦 A hash is perfect when you have a lot of random ingredients left. The idea is to cook the potatoes 🥔 through and remove, then the meat and veggies , and finally re-add everything to the egg mixture and cook with a lid. Make sure to lightly season ingredients that aren't naturally salty (I use CAJUN, or seasoning salt). We like to eat these with toasted bread. Definitely get creative with this. Enjoy & follow ...
