Here we have #wicklowgaol ...............Prisoners were held at Wicklow Gaol during the 1798 Rebellion and the Irish Potato Famine. The prison was extended in 1822 to a design by William Vitruvius Morrison, and further extended 1842. The prison was closed down by 1900 but reopened to hold republican prisoners during the Irish War of Independence and Irish Civil War, the last prisoners left in 1924. #urbanclimbing

#wicklow sadamasilla lõpus asub pisike, vaid 7 meetri kõrgune, nunnu #majakas - Wicklow East Pier Head Light. Vihmasaju tihenemise tõttu lasime kai juurest enne majaka vilkumise algust jalga, aga tegemist on täiesti töötava meremärgiga, mis ühes suunas näitab punast ja teises valget tuld.
Our chief pilot at API took Steve and Colin from @tallerstories out for a nice scenic flight of our beautiful capital, what a cracker of a day it was...more of this weather please 😁 #dayoff#itsinourblood
Drove to a farm in Baltinglass to record this morning, back to get the girls from school then home to tack up and load for pony club where this one was on her toes for two hours. We got at home 9pm, kicked ponies out (delighted) where Gucci will eat her body weight in grass tonight. More child/pony training tomorrow after work, and on Friday, and I’ve not seen one minute of Ascot on the telly this week🏇 Totally going on strike. She is so cute though #gucci ✨ ✨ ✨ ✨ ✨ ✨ ...
Family time is so important and the one time that is super important is dinner time. So unless my kids are cooking with me, I like to spend less time in the kitchen cooking and more time sitting outside enjoying good food and conversation together. So that’s why my Hallomi with Masala Prawns, is a fabulous, quick, simple and super taste dinner idea for alfresco dinning. full recipe on our website www.sukhisindia.com

What a day. Visiting Irish and (to me, poignantly) Bloomsbury artist Norah McGuinness’s incredible paintings. Am on a jaunt with my ma up to Donegal. Via Wicklow. Which isn’t really ‘via’ but this is Ireland. So it’s all possible. Am inspired and elated. ‘Like me’ (cough), Norah McGuinness was an illustrator as well as a painter - she illustrated WB Yeats’ poems among other work. She had a wild life for any woman, travelling, working and being recognised for it, and survived infamy following divorce - it took determination and free spirit anywhere, but in pre-war Ireland even more so. ...
It's so easy to fall in love with Ireland but there is so much more to it than its dramatic coast, green pastures, pretty villages and pubs ☘️💚 We lived in Ireland for over a decade and these are our favourite things to see and do there - what would you add? Link in bio 😉
