Zheng Cheng Gong is a national hero to defeat Dutch from controlling Taiwan, and he was the first Han Chinese leader to hold political power in the history of Taiwan. After he saved Taiwan, he dedicated his whole life to construct Taiwan, reclaim lands and train soldiers. Although his time in Taiwan was short, he left behind many stories and legends. The building, called Tao Zhu Yin Yuan, has a unique twisted shape that looks like a double helix . The condo is being built by Japanese general contractor Kumagai Gumi, which also built Taipei 101 . It is the most expensive condo in the city, which is already home to many luxury condos that are even costlier than those in Tokyo. Price per unit is said to be over $33 million . Orchid Island (Lanyu) is considered one of the world's best destinations for scuba diving and snorkeling, lies just off the southeast coast of Taiwan and is only 2 hours by ferry from Taitung. It is home to the Tao aboriginal tribe. the island was formed by volcanic action which left a curved and complex coastline. Coastal beach terraces and cliffs drop to colorful coral reefs where schools of tropical fish make their abode.
