@joshwoodcolour is the renowned hair colourist, responsible for transforming the hair colours of 37 models for @marcjacobs' most recent show. Wood worked closely with the designer to create each colour for the SS19 show, as Jacobs wanted each girls' hair to identically match the fabric colour from their look; seen above is @adwoaaboah, who had a candy floss pink buzzcut for the occasion. “Pastels are firmly here to stay in the fashion and editorial world, but I think they will be more widely adopted as something similar to the sophisticated pastels we created for Marc Jacobs; more classic and chicer ...

17-year-old Caroline Helsen (@mccarbie), is a student, model and designer from Antwerp. She spends months at a time creating mini versions of her favourite designer outfits, simply because her and her sister were tired of the predictable glittery pink garb that has become synonymous with the world's favourite doll. The young clothes-maker refuses to call herself a Barbie couturier, yet has remade outfits designed by the likes of Chanel, Calvin Klein and Miu Miu, and has even recreated this Nicole Kidman issue 18 LOVE cover. When the designer launched Marc Jacobs Beauty in 2013, many asked “what took him so long?” Well, Jacobs had to make sure he wasn’t putting out there a beauty brand that would be a pretext for growth. Carefully executed, Marc Jacobs Beauty welcomed the eclectic range of women who already loved the designer’s ...

“Our community has always found a way to come together in a positive and beautiful way to fight for our rights, and that’s the most we can do, to spread love, to educate, and to scream so loud they realise we will not be dismissed this easily. We’re not going anywhere without a fight, and more than ever it’s important for our cis-gender allies to fight with us. It’s important that we protect the lives of transgender and intersex youth, who at the moment are in fear of losing everything because of who they are and where they live. A ...
